Bruno Rasmussen

Medical director

He is our medical director and one of the most experienced professionals in the world in addiction treatment employed by Beneva, with more than 30 years of experience in the area. A graduate of the Federal University of São Paulo, he is trained in psychedelic-assisted therapies by the US organization MAPS (Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies) and has led the only MDMA pilot trial for post-traumatic stress carried out in Latin America to date.

Dartiu Xavier da Silveira

Psychiatrist

One of the most renowned physicians in Brazil, he is a scientific consultant for Beneva. In four decades of experience, he has developed an academic and clinical career focused on addiction and substance abuse treatments. Professor of psychiatry at the Federal University of São Paulo, he is a pioneer in research with ayahuasca, psilocybin, ibogaine and MDMA in the country, in addition to being a member of the American Psychiatry Association, the International Association for Analytical Psychology and a researcher at the University of California (UCLA).

Rodrigo Delfino

Psychiatrist

Supervisor of the Program for Affective and Anxiety Disorders at the Federal University of São Paulo (PRODAF/UNIFESP). Holds a Master's degree in Psychiatry and Medical Psychology, and is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Psychiatry and Medical Psychology at UNIFESP. Specializes in high complexity clinical psychiatry and works as a collaborating psychiatrist and researcher at the Ketamine Clinic of UNIFESP. Graduated from the Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy program at CETCC and holds a medical degree from the State University of Londrina (UEL). Is a member of the Brazilian Psychiatric Association.

Psychologist

He is a psychologist and has a master's degree in public health from the University of São Paulo, as well as a doctorate in collective health from the State University of Campinas. He researched the use of ayahuasca for the recovery of homeless people and the use of ibogaine in the treatment of chemical dependency. He has been working since 2010 with psychotherapy and psychedelics in the treatment of chemical dependents.
